The compound is built around one group at a time, and that model is aimed at twelve people and up. Smaller parties still stay here, but the terms are different and it is better to know which one you are.
Under twelve, you book beds or rooms the way an individual traveller would: a pod or bunk at $30 a night, a private room at $75, plus 9% lodging tax, paid in full at the time of booking, and only within thirty days of arrival. That thirty-day window exists so a group booking is never blocked by a handful of individual beds sold months in advance.
Meals are the real difference. The kitchen cooks for groups of twelve or more. Below that, the full open-air kitchen is yours to cook in and the town is a short walk.
If you are eleven people and it matters to you to have the place to yourselves and be fed, say so when you write. That is a conversation, not a policy.
