No meters. Agree on price before you get in. Around town is BZ$5-10. To Blue Creek or Maya sites: negotiate.

Requena's Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. About 1.5 hours.

PG tap water is generally safe but filtered or bottled water is recommended for sensitive stomachs.

Ask before photographing people, especially in Maya and Garifuna communities. It's a respect thing.
